SOW: Moxie Floral White

Happy Monday!  I hope you all had a fabulous weekend!  With beautiful weather and a Bob Dylan concert mine wasn't so bad ;)  To carry on from last weeks sale, lets start this week off with a good deal.  I picked the Moxie Floral White as our SOW.

This lightweight white cotton will be good Spring thru early Fall.  With every color in the rainbow, you will have no trouble outfitting this bright number!  This skirt is available in all three styles.  My pick is a swing!
Sevier Skirts Moxie!

For everyday wear, pick out a bright Michael Stars top.  Any color will do!  Above, I kicked it up a notch with a good date night look.  Perfect for a boardwalk date on your next beach vacation.  You don't have to wear heels to standout in this skirt.  I love pop color sandals with all three styles of skirts!

Original Price: $165     SOW Price: $132

SOW:Daisy Chain!!

With Mother's Day around the corner, I wanted to go floral for this weeks SOW.  The Daisy Chain was an obvious choice!  Take 20% off this week only for this hot new season skirt!

The Daisy Chain is a 100% cotton light weight skirt.  You will get Spring, Summer and early Fall out of this skirt.  With orange, white, green and turquoise flowers, you will have no problem picking a top to match.  The Daisy Chain is available in all three styles.  I recommend a swing.  I love the way light weight fabrics drape in a swing!
SOW:Sevier Skirts
There are so many ways to dress this skirt.  I couldn't settle on one color so I have a few options for you.  If you want a contrasting pop, try a purple top.  If you want to match the skirt hue for hue, go with an orange or turquoise top like the ones above.

This is a versatile skirt that can be worn for nice occasions like a graduation, or dressed down for running around town.  For an effortless look, grab a Michael Stars top.  My picks for the Daisy Chain is the Slub 3/4 Boatneck.  For a contrasting look, I picked the Coral.  Want to go neutral?  Go for the Sand.

Honeydew is a do!

It's no secret that Sevier likes color.  Did I say like?  I meant LOVE!  Apparently we're not the only ones.  Today I consulted InStyle for some blogging inspiration.  It turns out they love color so much, they dedicated each day this month to a different hue!  Today, they went with honeydew.  Ladies, honeydew is in!  Refreshing, delicate and friendly; this color will be your best friend all through Spring!
Honeydew is a do!
InStyle suggested pairing honeydew with lemon, coral and blues.  I jumped on Sevierskirts.com to pick out a honeydew skirt and look what I found: The Pop Candy Floral Warm Gray.  If you notice, we have it styled with a blue Michael Stars top and a coral necklace.  Yep, Sevier Skirts Stylists are on point!!

If a bright yellow or coral top is too much for your personal style, thats okay.  Plug these colors into your accessories the way we did with the necklace.  Above I have the perfect sandals, pumps, bags, necklaces and tops to start your Spring off with a perfect honeydew ensemble!

Don't forget your toes!  Have fun with color at your next manicure/pedicure!

Suzanne's Tip:Think Floral!

Suzanne is always wearing the most eye catching colors together.  The art student in me sees it as pairing complimentary and contrasting colors together from the color wheel.  Suzanne has a different way of looking at it...

Instead of methodically breaking down the color wheel, Suzanne goes to nature for her inspiration.  She looks at her outfits as flowers.  With a flower you have the stem and the bloom.  Think of your skirt as the stem to your outfit.  So pick any green skirt for your 'stem'.  The top you choose can be any color bloom you can imagine!
In Bloom

The result is an eye catching look!  Don't be bound by the colors that are already in your outfit.  Branch out to your favorite petal colors!  Above we have one of my favorite combos: fuchsia and olive.  You probably wouldn't think to pair the two, but they work perfectly!

Now go brighten up your outfit, it just might brighten up your day!
