SOW: Charlotte's Web Black

Wake up your fashion buds with a classic fabric in a fresh way.  This is not your grandma's lace!  This weeks SOW is the Charlotte's Web Black!

Unlike regular lace patterns, this fabric contains ivory, silver and black lurex infused in a web-like pattern over a black cotton base.  This skirt is lightweight and year round-always a bonus!

Above, I have the Charlotte's Web dressed for work and then happy hour after.  Unless you've been living under a rock, you know leather details are in so I went with this leather sleeved top from J. Crew to go with.  This boxy dressed up tee is a nice contrast to the feminine skirt beneath.  For a pop of color, go with a bright jacket!

Want a casual look?  With a pair of tall boots and chambray shirt you will be good to go.  For church, wedding or a nicer occasion, heels and a blouse are a refined look to go with.

Honeydew is a do!

It's no secret that Sevier likes color.  Did I say like?  I meant LOVE!  Apparently we're not the only ones.  Today I consulted InStyle for some blogging inspiration.  It turns out they love color so much, they dedicated each day this month to a different hue!  Today, they went with honeydew.  Ladies, honeydew is in!  Refreshing, delicate and friendly; this color will be your best friend all through Spring!

InStyle suggested pairing honeydew with lemon, coral and blues.  I jumped on Sevierskirts.com to pick out a honeydew skirt and look what I found: The Pop Candy Floral Warm Gray.  If you notice, we have it styled with a blue Michael Stars top and a coral necklace.  Yep, Sevier Skirts Stylists are on point!!

SOW: Amelia Black and White

September is finally here!  Not only is it the start of a new season, but Skirt Season has officially started as well!  To celebrate, we are discounting one of our top sellers this week for our SOW.  The Amelia Black and White is one hot commodity!  This is a light-medium weight black cotton with white flower appliqués embroidered onto it, giving it a great texture.

This skirt will easily be your go to all year round.  Summer time?  Pair it with flip flops.  Fall/Winter?  Strap on your favorite boots!

Above I have it paired with loose blouses.  I love this look!  Wrap a belt around your true waist leaving the shirt tails tucked out of the skirt and you have yourself one heck of a look.  Another bonus of the Amelia?  The white flowers are stitched down with multi colored thread.  It pops against the white of the flowers leaving you with endless options to pair with it.  The colors include purple, yellow, green, pink, and orange.  Your color choices are endless!
