Summer Love: Floral & White!

If you're a woman who plays by the rules, your time for wearing white is nearing its end.  September 3rd, day after Labor Day, will have you packing up your favorite bottoms so get your use out of them now!  My favorite way to wear white in the summer?  Why with a floral, of course...

Keep it sassy with Betsey Johnson wedges, or classy with a Dolce and Gabbana blouse.  Flirty with a floral peplum top, or casual with a Liberty of London button down.  You can't go wrong with a great white skirt like the Naomi White to finish the look off.  This outfit has me thinking of a garden party with the girls.  

My personal favorite?  I like a floral lightweight blouse with the sleeves rolled up.  Either belt it at the waist with the tales hanging untucked, or no belt and tie the tales up with a center knot for a girl next door look.  I want the white skirt in a pencil so my tan legs are glowing against the contrast!  Hair in a high bun gives you an effortless, thrown together look.

Honeydew is a do!

It's no secret that Sevier likes color.  Did I say like?  I meant LOVE!  Apparently we're not the only ones.  Today I consulted InStyle for some blogging inspiration.  It turns out they love color so much, they dedicated each day this month to a different hue!  Today, they went with honeydew.  Ladies, honeydew is in!  Refreshing, delicate and friendly; this color will be your best friend all through Spring!

InStyle suggested pairing honeydew with lemon, coral and blues.  I jumped on Sevierskirts.com to pick out a honeydew skirt and look what I found: The Pop Candy Floral Warm Gray.  If you notice, we have it styled with a blue Michael Stars top and a coral necklace.  Yep, Sevier Skirts Stylists are on point!!

SOW: Java Moon Hot Pink!!!!

This week's SOW is a stand out!  This sturdy canvas base, tribal printed, tuft textured skirt will get you noticed for sure.  The Java Moon Hot Pink is an all year round skirt and on sale 20% off this week only!

As I said, this is a sturdy skirt so a Pencil will be best.  The construction of this skirt is very clean, meaning structurally there isn't too much going on.  Again, this is a canvas based skirt with tuft detailing where you see yellow.  Tufts are thick yarns that have been gathered up and stitched down giving a nice texture to a fabric.  

I loved the way the girls styled the Java Moon for the photo shoot so I just broke down the outfit above.  Find an off white blouse, a 3/4 length is ideal.  Wrap your staple thin brown belt around the blouse at the smallest part of your waist.  To set off the teal in the skirt pair a teal necklace with it.  Its cold out so I went with brown booties rather than open toed wedges. 

Want a different look?  You can wear any of the following solid long sleeve colors: black, brown, yellow, teal, fuchsia, beige, navy, army green, white or gray.  Now pair with a denim jacket and the brown booties above and your good to go!
