Honeydew is a do!

It's no secret that Sevier likes color.  Did I say like?  I meant LOVE!  Apparently we're not the only ones.  Today I consulted InStyle for some blogging inspiration.  It turns out they love color so much, they dedicated each day this month to a different hue!  Today, they went with honeydew.  Ladies, honeydew is in!  Refreshing, delicate and friendly; this color will be your best friend all through Spring!
Honeydew is a do!
InStyle suggested pairing honeydew with lemon, coral and blues.  I jumped on Sevierskirts.com to pick out a honeydew skirt and look what I found: The Pop Candy Floral Warm Gray.  If you notice, we have it styled with a blue Michael Stars top and a coral necklace.  Yep, Sevier Skirts Stylists are on point!!

If a bright yellow or coral top is too much for your personal style, thats okay.  Plug these colors into your accessories the way we did with the necklace.  Above I have the perfect sandals, pumps, bags, necklaces and tops to start your Spring off with a perfect honeydew ensemble!

Don't forget your toes!  Have fun with color at your next manicure/pedicure!

SOW: Ace Gray!!

Morning!!!  This week's SOW is one of my favorites!!  The Ace Gray is on sale 20% off this week only!  The Ace Gray is a lightweight cotton with embroidery and slight eyelet detailing.  Get this girl in a Swing, she drapes very well.

I loved this skirt the moment it walked into the shop.  The colors are right up my alley.  The light base is light enough to be a subtle gray with a hint of blue to keep it from being drab.  The embroidery detailing is gorgeous, you need to see this in person!
Ace

On our well styled website, we have this skirt in the summer look shown above to the left.  Love, love, love it.  To style her for summer, pair with ANY color you would gray.

Now I styled her for the winter so you can wear her right away.  The pop of color is great, but I'm a sucker for neutrals!  The top I chose was our very own Michael Stars Off the Shoulder Desert.  Pair with brown boots, I like these cowboy styled riding boots.  This is the perfect casual look, leaving you flawless and seemingly effortless!

Game Day: Go Auburn!!

I'm a little biased about this weeks Game Day Skirt.  This week were going down south to the plains to cheer on my Auburn Tigers!  Don't let our 1-3 record allow you to slack in the tailgate fashion department!  We have some great Auburn options to choose from, including our SOW this week!  Here I'll show you four more great skirts!
Game Day: Go Auburn!!
The Nepal-Pumpkin, shown on the model is the perfect color orange to get in the school spirit! I love the abstract design.  This skirt has a lot of structure so in an A-line or Pencil will be best. With a Navy Michael Stars top from the Sevier Skirt shop, your game day look is good to go!
Of course I love the Tribal- Burnt Orange!  This skirt is a Sevier Signature! The colors are so rich and the texture is great against the burnt orange canvas.   A white or navy top will look great with this one!
Want to wear an orange top this game day?  Opt for the Tulip Field Navy or the Liberty Quinn Corduroy.
I love Game Day because you can get dressed up or stay casual.  I like looking nice while staying comfortable so I topped this look off with small heeled boots and a denim jacket.

Auburn, good luck this weekend!  If I liked football I would tune it...
For all those watching the game this weekend give em' a big WAR EAGLE for me!

SOW: Charisma Navy

Morning ladies!  I hope you all had a great weekend!  Here in Nashville we had blue sky afternoons followed by thunderstorm nights and crisp mornings that led into hot early evenings.  Due to the change of seasons, its normal for mood swings in weather.  To balance that out, I chose a skirt this week for our SOW that will be able to keep up with the sudden changes in weather.
This skirt isn't extremely thin, while at the same time it isn't extremely thick.  She's right in the middle.  Also, the colors in this are light enough to be cheery but has a dark enough base to get away with far into the fall.  That is why I chose the Charisma Navy to be our SOW this week!
Charisma
The Charisma's perk is that it is easily matchable.  Our sales rep Ginny rocked it with a chambray top.  I love this casual look!
Or, you can always pair it with any Michael Stars top we have.  Either way, you'll have no trouble outfitting this low maintenance skirt!

SOW: Willow Branch Brown!!

Happy Monday ladies!  This week, I chose the Willow Branch Brown as our Skirt Of the Week.  This is a great work skirt.  I love it because it is year round and has great structure to it. That being said, I recommend this skirt in a Pencil or an A-line.
Sevier Skirts
I love to change it up at work and get out of the all black routine.  Brown looks great with any color, my personal favorites being fuchsia, turquoise and coral.  They pop against the brown, giving you a great look while staying professional.  I pulled this sweater and top off of the J. Crew website so be sure to check there for great outfit options!
