SOW:Pop Candy Floral Warm Gray!!

One of our newest, The Pop Candy Floral Warm Gray will kick off Monday as our Skirt of the Week!  Take 20% off this skirt, this week only.

This is a lightweight cotton good Spring thru early Fall.  This skirt has a great sleek feel to it, giving it that extra flair.  The Pop Candy is available in all three styles.  I recommend a swing in this number!
SOW:Pop Candy Floral
I picked this skirt to be our SOW for the wide color range it offers.  From black to blue to brown and every color in between, anything goes with the Pop Candy Floral Warm Gray.  The outfit above is perfect for a Summer date.  I went with a flowing off-white blouse.  For Summer, roll up the sleeves!  When wearing a swing, you need a little structure to the top half.  You can still go with a blouse just make sure to show off your figure with a fitted belt around your waist.  To bring color to your top half, add a bright statement necklace.

No need to break the bank to look like a million.  The top in this outfit is H&M and the bag is Target!

SOW: Naomi Ivory

I love this week's SOW so much that I'm pretty sure I have highlighted it as a SOW before!  The Naomi Ivory is where it's at this summer.  Better than white denim, you can wear the Naomi well past Labor Day into Fall.  It's almost like you're getting away with something!

The Naomi is a lightweight cotton base with like cotton ruffles stitched on top.  The Naomi is available in straight styles, be ready to show off those legs!  If you're weary on the straight styles but dying to get into one, this skirt is for you.  Texture hides those unwanted humps and lumps!
SOW: Sevier Skirts
When outfitting the Naomi, anything goes that would go with white denim or khaki pants.  So what I'm saying is, the skies the limit or at least the color wheel.  For Summer, I went with a lightweight flirty sleeveless peach top.  Perfect for date night.  Bring a denim jacket with you just in case.

For Fall, I went chambray (shocking, I know) with riding boots.  So simple, so feminine.

Want to go even simpler?  Go for strappy thick heels like the one above and a Michael Stars top; any color goes.

SOW: 007 Sequins Gunmetal

Ladies, I'm in love.  With our new sequins line of course ;)  Thats right, sequins aren't just for New Years anymore!  This week when deciding which sequins skirt I would pick for our SOW, I thought go big or go home.  The 007 Sequins Gunmetal was a no brainer, making it our 20% off skirt this week!!

This 100% Polyester skirt is made of gunmetal circular sequins on a poly taffeta base.  You are going to want this hot number in a Pencil!  Time to show some leg!
Sevier Sequins
For a fancy occasion, I picked out this cute bubble chiffon top from Cabi.  Grab a cute matching blue clutch, a statement ring or bracelet, and some gray pumps and you're ready to drop some jaws.  Perfect outfit for a Summer cocktail party.

Casual brunch with the girls?  Pair with your staple chambray top, gray booties and a belt.  Knockout effortless outfit in no time!

Quick Tip: The 007 Sequins Gunmetal is the show stopper so keep the shoes nude or gray to accompany and blend, not to steal the show.

Hostess with the Mostess!

Last weekend I threw my very first baby shower.  The guest of honor was obviously the center of attention.  My Sevier Skirt was a close second!  I threw on my Ellie-Pink and people couldn't stop commenting!

As the host of the party, you must look nice while not stealing the show.  So, your outfit needs to be well thought out.  Here are my tips:

1. Pick a statement piece (I chose my Ellie Pink Sevier Skirt)
2. Tone the rest of the outfit down to be casual (Riding boots and a chambray top will do the trick)
3.  Have some fun with it.  If it's a girl, wear pink; blue if it's a boy!
Left: Posing in my Ellie
Top Right: Tissue Flower Decor
Bottom Right: Diaper center pieces

With TWO girls coming, I had to dress the part.
That's why I grabbed my favorite pink skirt!

Bad News:  The Ellie Pink is sold out.
Good News:  I have hand selected three in season skirts that are perfect for the occasion!

I look for three things when selecting a baby shower outfit.
1. Color-If its a girl, wear pink.  Boy, wear blue.  And if it is a surprise go with yellow, orange or another gender neutral color.
2. Texture-People can't help but comment on a textured garment.  The velvet in the Ellie Orange and Vivian Coral are perfect.  When the light hits it just right, the sheen in the skirt will be the envy of all your friends!  The Tribal Blue has tufts placed throughout the skirt that give it a nice 3-dimensional element.
3. Comfort & Durability-You are going to be on and off your feet all day, so choose a fabric that is comfortable and won't crease and wrinkle easily.  Canvas cottons are great for this!

Baby Shower
Want at look like mine?  The Vivian Coral is a great alternative to the Ellie-Pink.  Same texture and color!  For a similar style, the Ellie-Orange and the Tribal Blue are great.  Finish the look with a chambray top, a brown leather belt and brown riding boots.  You will appear as effortless and put together as your baby-shower!
